Job brief
We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep Noosa Civic in excellent condition. You will carry out preventative and reactive maintenance, respond to repair requests, and ensure that the centre’s facilities meet safety and presentation standards.
The ideal candidate is practical, safety-conscious and able to troubleshoot a variety of maintenance issues. You will also coordinate contractors and support compliance with building and workplace health and safety regulations.
The goal is to maintain a safe, reliable and welcoming environment for customers and tenants.
Requirements
- Experience in facilities, building services or trade maintenance
- Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry or HVAC tasks
- Ability to use tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
- Relevant trade qualifications or licences preferred
